Snake and Possum Relocation

In addition to the Snake and Possum relocation services, we can offer advice to snake-proof locations, making it more difficult for animals to shelter there. We also advise residents on how to keep their homes and yards snake-free.

Snakes can cover a wide area (up to 5 hectares). A snake’s main motivation for being in the Lake Macquarie region is to find food or refuge. If you remove these, the snake will have no reason to live on your property.

Food scraps, bird feed, rubbish or anything left lying around in your yard or workplace that will attract rats and mice, will attract snakes that feed on rats and mice.
